Portugal showcases national telehealth plan with patients at the center

Portugal has been involved in telehealth since the 1990s and leading initiatives have spread throughout the country. In order to maximize their potential, the government has just launched a flagship plan that will help draw a national strategy for the next three years, by placing patients at the center of consultations and building on the experience in telemonitoring.
