With the announcement of Apple’s impending AirPod 2 headphones, the Cupertino tech giant once again raised its self-set bar—this time in the realm of personal audio. Non-fanboys immediately got that old familiar, sinking feeling: This news simply doesn’t apply to us. So, if you’re not an Apple devotee, what are the best AirPod alternatives?
Thankfully, a host of competitors have come out with Android-friendly true wireless earbuds that perform as well as (if not better than) Apple’s AirPods—often for a fraction of the cost.
